I do not live in Tyler, but live an hour from there and was in town for my mothers Dr. appointment. After leaving in the pouring rain, I realized there was a small kitten somewhere under my car. I pulled into Anderson's and spoke with Ken the owner, who thought it was in the trim of the wheel well and could get it out. We waited in the waiting room for about 15- 20 minutes for them to pull off the wheel and trim and find the kitten. While waiting I could hear the interaction with customers he spoke with on the phone and sounded like a great business man. He would not take any money for helping me and so I gave his employee the money. He said this happens more than you would think. Any business man who is this kind and helps others for no money I feel like you can trust with your car and I will sure use him if I ever have car trouble in Tyler. I am also a business owner for 31 years and can usually spot an honest business. Thanks again Ken for a wonderful gesture of kindness.

I got new windshield wipers and they filled my tires. And they were nice.

I drove from Hideaway to East Loop 323 for repair on my car and saved $$$'s compared to Dealer. Ken and his employees have always provided outstanding service at a reasonable price.

Summer’s coming, and with it, warmer temperatures, vacations, and longer trips. We don’t want to be downers, but if your car’s cooling system isn’t up to par, things could go from fun-in-the-sun to stranded-in-the-sun too quickly for anyone’s liking. Because the truth is: cooling system failure is a leading cause of vehicle breakdowns.

Don’t let it come to that.    The easiest way to make sure your summer plans stay on course is to pay attention to your vehicle’s cooling system now, while the weather’s still mild. Trust us, you’ll avoid a lot of aggravation, and possibly an unnecessarily expensive vehicle repair.   Here’s how to maintain your cooling system.

When it comes to your tires, size does matter. So be sure to buy the tire size recommended in your vehicle's owner's manual.  Since your speedometer is hooked up to the transmission and the speedometer is calibrated for the revolution of the recommended tire size, a taller or shorter tire will affect the accuracy of your speedometer.
